Kaiser Permanente Expands Access to Physician Care with the Addition of Eight New Physicians

Physicians in Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Hematology/Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Neonatology and Neurosurgery Join the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii today announced the addition of eight new physicians who join over 500 physicians and providers of the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group (HPMG), the state’s largest multi-specialty medical group, providing comprehensive care to Kaiser Permanente’s 227,000-plus members. The eight physicians include:

– Keola Beale, MD, Hematology/Oncology, Moanalua Medical Center
– William Goh, MD, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Moanalua Medical Center
– Steven Kramer, MD, Family Medicine, Honolulu Clinic
– Christopher Lenart, MD, Neurosurgery, Moanalua Medical Center
– Serena Lo, MD, Geriatrics, Honolulu Clinic
– Cristina Mogos, MD, Neonatology, Moanalua Medical Center
– Cherry Rose Rosales, MD, Family Medicine, Waipio Clinic

Maui
– Bien Lazatin, MD, Family Medicine, Maui Lani Clinic

Dr. Keola Beale earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine as well as a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Beale is triple-board certified in internal medicine, hematology, and oncology. He was most recently at Pali Momi Medical Center, Kapiolani Medical Center, and Straub Clinic and Hospital in Honolulu. Dr. Beale is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center.
 
Dr. William Goh earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. Dr. Goh recently completed a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. He is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center.

Dr. Steven Kramer earned his medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at O’Conner Hospital in San Jose, California. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Kramer is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Honolulu Clinic.

Dr. Christopher Lenart earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Montefiore Medical Center, both located in the Bronx, New York. He completed an endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at Capital Health Hospital in Trenton, New Jersey, and is board eligible for the American Board of Neurosurgical Surgery. Dr. Lenart is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center.

Dr. Serena Lo earned her medical degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed her residency in internal medicine at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lo recently completed an advanced geriatric physician fellowship with the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center of Veterans Administration Puget Sound Health System in Seattle. She is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Honolulu Clinic.

Dr. Cristina Mogos earned her medical degree from the Carol Davila School of Medicine in Bucharest, Romania, and completed her residency in pediatrics at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. She most recently was with Neonatology Associates, Ltd., and St. Joseph’s Hospital & Medical Center, both located in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Mogos is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Moanalua Medical Center.

Dr. Cherry Rose Rosales joins 15 family medicine physicians at Kaiser Permanente’s Waipio Clinic. She completed her internship and residency in family medicine at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. The Waipio Clinic provides a wide range of health care services with over 15 departments and specialties serving the Leeward community.

Dr. Bien Lazatin earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in family medicine at Georgetown University, Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. Lazatin is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is practicing at Kaiser Permanente’s Maui Lani Clinic.
